Don Ledingha is a teacher and Executive Director of Education and Children's Services for East Lothian Council, Scotland.

What I like about his work, and indeed his philosophy about Education, is that it should (needs to) be about learning.

Re: education does not equal learning.

He has been keeping a learning log since 2005. It started off simply as a means recording what he was up to on a day-to-day basis. Since then it’s grown into something which has had, and is having, a profound effect upon professional practice within schools.

As I say: open, self-directed, radical off the hook learning will smash the old worn out paradigm of 'Eduction, Eduction, Eduction.'
